The Seventh Annual Foundation Gala

On Friday, February 24, 2012, the Community Foundation of Orange will honor as their 7th Community Champion the Honorable Gaddi Vasquez, Senior Vice President of Public Affairs for Southern California Edison. Former Ambassador to the United Nations Food & Agriculture Program and former Director of the United States Peace Corps, Ambassador Vasquez has strong roots in the Greater Orange Community.

The Gala will be held at 6 pm Feb 24, 2012 at The Villa Banquet Room, 510 E. Katella Avenue, Orange 92867.

2011 Foundation Gala--Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim

The Community Foundation of Orange was pleased to honor The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Angels as our Sixth Community Champion. Accepting the award on behalf of the Angels were Angels Chairman Dennis Kuhl and Tim Mead, Vice President of Communications. Attended by over 250 local VIP's, the event raised money for the CFO's outreach scholarship programs.

The CFO & KidsPlay make a donation to Orange HIgh School

The Community Foundation is pleased to assist lower income student athletes who cannot afford the cost of playing recreational and high school sports. Through a $2000 donation to Orange High School, over 20 OHS student athletes will receive much needed financial assistance.

Bob Hobbs Outstanding Athlete Award

On November 9th City Officials, OUSD Athletic Directors, Family, Friends, and members of the community gathered for the unveiling and presentation of the Bob Hobbs Trophy Case commissioned by the Community Foundation of Orange in partnership with the City of Orange.
