Posted Monday, May 22: WE ARE SOLD OUT!
ORANGE @ HEART GALA honoring The Home Depot
The Home Depot Foundation works to improve the homes and lies of U.S. veterans, train skilled tradespeople to fill the labor gap and support communities impacted by natural disasters. Since 2011, the Foundation has invested more than $400M in veteran’s causes and improved more than 50,000 veteran homes and facilities. The Foundation has pledged to invest half a billion dollars in veteran causes by 2025 and $500 million in training the next generation of skilled tradespeople through the Path to Pro program.
Locally, our two Orange Home Depot stores have quietly supported many efforts in our community. They have not only helped the Community Foundation of Orange with the Orange Field of Valor and the Orange Yard Sign Project, but they have worked with Love Orange, the HUB OC Resource Center, local OUSD schools (including Santiago Middle School, Fairhaven Elementary, Villa Park Elementary and HS, Serrano Elementary among others), veterans resource organizations and more—all making a true difference here to our veterans, our students and our under-served. The list of those they have assisted is long and while we all love running to Home Depot to pick up a much needed tool, plant or just to get advice on a project, the Home Depot Associates are here to serve!
