KidsPlay™
![]() What is KidsPlay™? KidsPlay™ removes financial barriers and expands opportunities, inspiring our local youth to live active lifestyles and promoting both mental and physical health. The Community Foundation of Orange created KidsPlay™ in 2007 when we saw a need for providing financial assistance to underserved youth, allowing them to participate in visual and performing arts and youth sports programs. To date, we have assisted over 2000 youth and are actively finding ways to meet the changing needs within our city. We work closely with OUSD Title One schools, community centers, mental health professionals and other leaders in the community to identify and assist those families most in need. What’s New with KidsPlay™ ? In 2021, a need was identified to reach out and support our youth by adding a mental health component to the KidsPlay™ program. We have recently formed a new relationship with CHOC to access additional resources. We pride ourselves on staying aware of the changing needs of our youth and meeting those needs with creative and successful solutions. KidsPlay™ at Work in our Community We know that working together allows the best chance for success. We have partnered with over 75 local schools, companies, non-profits and other organizations, making the most of every dollar raised and every opportunity we have to change lives. With your support, we are providing positive and healthy options that not only make an immediate impact on the families we serve, but ultimately create a change that strengthens the entire community for years and years to come.
